Download our newsletter! The Seafarer's Centre has been remodelled, thanks to Port Nelson, and now boasts a lovely warm lounge and friendly hosts who want to make you feel at home. We're here to provide a safe, comfortable and welcoming environment for seafarers, regardless of nationality or faith. Our volunteer hosts are local folks who want to do something nice for seafarers who are so far away from their friends and families. The Mission is operated in partnership with local churches and the Anglican Diocese of Nelson. The lounge is open from 7-10:00pm, and we even have free internet access 24 hours a day! We are located on McGlashen Quay. Please let us know how we can help, if you are interested in becoming a host, or would like to help with a current need.
